International rules of the Picnic........


International Picnic Rules:


  1. Place of picnic is always chosen by the kids
  2. Friends invited by kid only, adults not allowed to invite others
  3. NO ALCOHOL on any picnic ever
  4. Adults have to eat the same as the kids
  5. All games chosen by kids
  6. No swearing allowed
  7. No shouting allowed (apart from part of a game)
  8. The weather should not interfere with an announced picnic
  9. Kids should be allowed to be kids
  10. Adults should act like kids
  11. If you are not willing to have fun, or get wet, do not organise a picnic
  12. When asked in the car, ‘are we there yet?’ the answer is always ‘nearly’
  13. A picnic is only over when the kids say so and not before
  14. No knives and forks allowed at a picnic
  15. Health and safety rule do not apply on a picnic
  16. Parents are allowed to take part in a picnic game only if the kids say they are allowed
  17. Where practicable Ice Cream, chocolate and sweet’s should be eaten before cakes and crisps, always eat sandwich’s last and only if you are still hungry.
  18. Sandwich’s should only be taken on a picnic as food to feed the ducks.
  19. Fruit is optional.




These rules have been drawn up and agreed by a consortium of elders from 57 countries and ratified by, The world council for kids on a picnic. As a picnic facilitator you are obligated to abide by them, or refrain from taking your kids on a picnic. By organising a picnic you agree to abide by these rules and can be punished by local law.
