Me and Grandad went out for a couple of hours today. We went for a walk along the river and took some photographs.

Grandad told me when the River Trent floods they put a mark and date on the wall to say how deep it was.

We walked along the river to where the canal joins and sat and had a picnic. We watched a 'Narrowboat' in the lock. We then went and played on the park for a bit. On the way home we stopped at the Memorial Hall in the village and had a cake and some juice, I won two things on the tombola. When we got back to G-Ma's house Grandad made me some chocolate spread on toast and we watch 'Cars' and played with Frank, Mater and Lightning McQueen
